Steven Whitla is a Managing Director and specializes in financial systems reviews on behalf of corporations, and federal and local governments. He has investigated several criminal cases involving employee, management and investor fraud, money laundering, kickbacks and homicide for profit. Mr. Whitla's government experience includes reviews of contracts and funding agreements for federal departments and agencies in addition to acting as a Fairness Monitor for several significant procurements. He was also one of the lead forensic accountants for the Gomery Inquiry. His civil litigation experience includes business valuations, quantification of damages as from contract disputes, loss-of-profits calculations, construction-lien-act and personal injury cases. Mr. Whitla has also been involved in numerous due diligence reviews on behalf of the investment banking community.
